Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care and administer medications during the night shift. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and operate under RN supervision to support optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, and ongoing evaluation, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and adherence to hospital policies. EPIC EHR experience is preferred and flexibility for on-call needs is valued.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS may be required for specialty areas.
• Experience in clinical patient care preferred; EPIC/EHR training may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, participate in the nursing process of data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Provide direct nursing care and assist with patient care as directed by RN or physician.
• Document patient data and care in the chart with accuracy and timeliness; update care plans as needed.
