OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Ortho Unit 1. The RN provides general nursing care across the continuum in diverse acute care settings, with a 24/7/365 operation. Night shift, 36 hours per week.

The RN is accountable to the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs/UAPs in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. BSN preferred after five years of employment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsabilités

• Assessment/Diagnosis: perform initial, ongoing health status assessment as applicable.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: document planned nursing interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluate and document response to nursing interventions and revise plan of care.
• Leadership: participate in process improvement to improve quality and safety.
• Operations: support daily unit operations as part of a high reliability organization.
