Job summary

The Lindner Center Of Hope in Mason, OH is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time (.8 FTE) night shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am. The LPN works under RN supervision, providing age-specific nursing care and participating in assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation to support patients with mental health needs.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program, current Ohio license, and two years of experience (behavioral health preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and current Ohio license.
• Two years of nursing experience, behavioral health preferred.
• Must have or obtain medication administration card per policy.
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact.

Responsibilities

• Participates in nursing assessment by collecting and recording data.
• Contributes to plan of care and discharge planning with RN.
• Implements plan of care and nursing actions under RN supervision.
• Evaluates patient care effectiveness and maintains safety.
• Communicates plans and status during shift reports.
• Maintains age-specific, culturally competent patient care.
• Ensures medication administration compliance and safety.
• Supports education for patient and family and collaborates with health care team.
