Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Birmingham, AL seeks an LPN for our general medicine unit on a 2x12 night shift. The unit houses a 24-bed patient population with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, handling diverse acute care cases and complex conditions, under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Nursing School Graduate required.
• Experience as an LPN preferred.
• Ability to administer medications and monitor patients.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competency in advanced practical nursing skills and equipment use.
• Communicates patient condition to RN and health care team.
• Assists RN or provider during examinations and procedures.
• Documents patient data and education as directed.
• Triage patients and determine next steps in care.
• Administers medications per LPN scope and as directed.
