Job summary

Northpoint Recovery in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts. You will provide and oversee medical services for a caseload of adults and coordinate the master treatment and discharge plans with the multidisciplinary team.

This role requires an active LPN license in Nebraska, CPR/First Aid/AED certification, strong communication and handoff skills, and adherence to all regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Nebraska is required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Interact routinely with patients and communicate observations to the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and engage in patient education.
• Use de-escalation techniques to maintain safety for patients and staff.
• Provide admission, orientation, education and discharge plans.
• Collaborate on treatment and discharge planning with the team.
• Document assessments and care in the patient record promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and report maintenance needs.
