Job summary

Northpoint Recovery is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shifts in Omaha, NE. The LPN will oversee medical services for a caseload, coordinating treatment plans and discharge planning under supervision of a RN or provider.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient education, safety, and documentation. Eligible candidates must hold an active LPN license, CPR/First Aid/AED, and have EMR experience with a preference for KIPU.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered active LPN license in the state where services are rendered.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Knowledge of computer and electronic medical records systems (KIPU preferred).
• Ability to work with diverse population and maintain professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and communicate observations to the multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and engage in education with patients.
• Utilize de-escalation skills to maintain safety for patients and staff.
• Provide admission, orientation, education and discharge plans.
• Collaborate with treatment team on plans and discharge planning.
