Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caregiver family. You will be responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients, coordinating care, and ensuring the wellbeing of our residents as part of a compassionate team.

Your role will involve administering medications, performing nursing assessments, and working closely with a supportive community that values care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as a licensed practical nurse (LPN).
• Demonstrates knowledge of basic nursing practice with an interest in gerontological nursing.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing care of residents ensuring capable nurse aide assignment.
• Provides safe and accurate medication interventions.
• Administers and documents medications according to each resident's schedule.
• Orders and receives medications from the pharmacy.
• Conducts an accurate accounting of all narcotics.

Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing practice

Interest in gerontological nursing

Basic computer skills

Education

Current state license as LPN

CPR certification

Experience in long-term care setting
