Qualifications

• Must have a current state license to practice as an LPN and CPR certification.
• CPR certification and additional nursing specialty certification are desirable.
• Prefer 2 years’ experience in a long-term care setting.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care on the unit ensuring residents have appropriate nurse aide coverage.
• Provide safe and accurate medication-related interventions.
• Administer and document medications and treatments per schedule.
• Perform nursing assessments and notify physicians of status changes.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders accurately.
• Assist with assignment sheets considering resident safety and staff capabilities.
• Report staff shortages and participate in performance-related actions.
