Highland Hospital in Charleston, WV is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shift in acute care. You will provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse and participate in the planning and evaluation of patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• Experience in acute medical/psychiatric setting preferred.
• Ability to apply nursing standards and follow hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of patients under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
• Administers medications with accurate documentation and monitors effects.
• Observes patient status, vital signs, and reports changes promptly.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to unit policies and procedures.
