Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center is seeking an RN-Team Advisor to direct and supervise the 24-hour care of assigned elders, ensuring a comprehensive plan of care and regulatory compliance. The role involves leading a clinical support team, supervising CNAs, RNs, and LPNs, and fostering teamwork in a transformative elder-directed care model.

Hours are full-time with night shifts (4x10s or 3x12s per week). Alaska RN license required, BLS within 30 days, and gerontological nursing experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
• 1 year clinical nursing experience
• Gerontological nursing is necessary to perform essential functions

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the 24-hour care of assigned elders to deliver whole-person care
• Implements and evaluates the elder's comprehensive plan of care
• Facilitates communication of elder needs to the clinical support team
• Supervises CNAs, RNs and LPNs within 24-hour teams
• Fosters professional growth and teamwork in an innovative care setting
