Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Ctr in Alaska is hiring an RN-Team Advisor to direct and supervise 24-hour elder care, delivering whole-person care within an elder-directed model. You will implement and continually evaluate each elder’s care plan and lead CNAs, RNs and LPNs.

Alaska RN license required, with BLS completed within 30 days of hire. Full-time night shifts available (36/40 hours weekly), with 4x10 or 3x12 schedules.

Qualifications

• Coursework/Training Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Upon hire: Alaska Registered Nurse License
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Clinical nursing.
• In gerontological nursing is necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the 24-hour care of assigned elders to deliver whole-person care
• Responsible for the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the elder's comprehensive plan of care
• Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs and LPNs within 24-hour teams

The RN-Team Advisor

DescriptionThe RN-Team Advisor directs and supervises the 24-hour care of assigned elders to deliver whole-person care in an innovative elder-directed care model. Responsible for the implementation and ongoing evaluation of the elder's comprehensive plan of care. Uses established work systems and processes to facilitate quality of care and quality of life while ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance with all applicable laws and professional standards of practice. Facilitates effective communication of elder needs and issues to the clinical support team. Supervises Certified Nursing Assistants, RNs and LPNs within 24-hour teams for the assigned group of elders. Hours

Full Time (36 or 40 hours weekly)Shift:

Required Qualifications

Pay Range: $49.31 - $76.56

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
