Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Wentzville, MO is hiring a Logistics Associate for the GM facility. The role entails ensuring on-time delivery, supplier coordination, and material planning support with a night shift from 23:00 to 07:00, Monday through Friday, plus 1–2 Saturdays monthly.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus accompanies benefits and PTO. Requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant administrative experience; five years' related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow-up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery performance to support production requirements.
• Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers.
• Provide direction to suppliers regarding ship schedule requirements and containment plans.
• Includes decision making on timing for supplier ship schedules to optimize material flow.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to avoid production interruptions.
• Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material and spot buys as needed.
• Monitor, set up, and cancel truck loads for material pickup to support schedule variations.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and post adjustments as needed.
