Job summary

Penske Logistics in Orlando, FL is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the hourly workforce and supervise drivers to meet customer requirements and Penske goals. The role focuses on driving daily tasks, performance management, and staffing decisions in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The position emphasizes safety, process improvement, and effective communication. Shift is Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–1:30am, with flexibility during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership with ability to connect with associates and customers.
• Strong time management and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive process improvement and lead change.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop supervisors and hourly staff to meet customer objectives.
• Schedule, supervise and coach drivers and logistics operations.
• Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance standards with coaching.
• Conduct team meetings and implement process improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation, dispatch and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with customer meetings and hiring processes as needed.
• Maintain safety and equipment maintenance awareness and reporting.
