Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring multiple Logistics Supervisors for the Miramar, FL area. The role is a salaried, exempt position with night shifts; temporary through January.

Supervisors will lead shifts, ensure safety and efficiency, and drive performance metrics for top customers in our Supply Chain Solutions division. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Logistics Manager, scheduling, KPI tracking, coaching teams, and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required.
• 1 year or more supervisory/leadership experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution.
• Travel may be required; experience in logistics environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily logistics operations and coordinate with the Logistics Manager to meet standards and customer specs.
• Establish schedules and procedures; guide team to optimize shift logistics.
• Monitor KPI performance and coach team toward objectives and improvements.
• Provide orientation for employees and lead hands; enforce health, safety and security practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
