Job summary

Orca Bio in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a Specialist, Logistics to coordinate donor cell and drug shipments between manufacturing sites and transplant centers. You will monitor real-time courier runs, manage disruptions, and make rapid routing decisions to keep products moving toward treatment centers.

This role supports night shifts (6:00 pm–6:30 am or 6:30 pm–7:00 am), with weekends and alternating Wednesdays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of relevant logistics experience.
• Familiarity with handling biological materials and transportation regulations.
• Proficiency in logistics tracking systems or software.

Responsibilities

• Real‑time transport monitoring and live courier flight tracking.
• Disruption management: rebook flights/hotels and re-route couriers.
• Maintain chain‑of‑custody documentation and KPI data.
• Schedule couriers and coordinate shipments to recipient sites.
• Cross‑training backup for night packaging operations during surge.
