Job summary

Orca Bio is seeking a Logistics Specialist to ensure secure and timely transport of donor cells and drug products between manufacturing sites and transplant centers. You will coordinate real-time courier runs, monitor weather for disruption planning, and take prompt action to keep products moving toward treatment centers.

The role requires proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on accuracy and urgency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of relevant logistics experience.
• Familiarity with handling biological materials and related regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency with logistics tracking systems or software.

Responsibilities

• Provide live tracking of courier flights and resolve delays in real time.
• Act as decision-maker to rebook travel and reroute couriers during disruptions.
• Maintain chain-of-custody records and track vein-to-vein KPI data.
• Schedule couriers, manage vendor relationships, and review courier invoices.
• Cross-train for night packaging and support SOPs during surge periods.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory transport requirements.
