Job summary

Veho is seeking a 3rd Shift Logistics Manager to lead overnight transportation operations across a high-volume network. Reporting to the Director of Transportation, you will ensure loads move on time, manage a team of coordinators, and triage disruptions with data-driven decisions.

This role emphasizes live operations, escalation, and continuous improvement, with exposure to AI tools and real-time tracking.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain with 2+ years in leadership.
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Hands-on with live operations and escalation management.
• Strong ability to triage issues quickly and drive resolutions.
• Ability to interpret operational data and translate into actions.

Responsibilities

• Own Night Shift Execution: lead overnight transportation operations across a high-volume network.
• Manage Real-Time Operations: monitor active shipments and respond to disruptions.
• Lead a Team of Coordinators: guide load tracking, exceptions, and execution.
• Drive Escalation & Issue Resolution: act as primary escalation point for delays and capacity gaps.
• Make Real-Time Decisions: adjust routing and recovery plans based on live conditions.
• Source & Book Ad Hoc Recovery Shipments: secure recovery capacity in real time.
• Monitor & Drive Performance Metrics: own KPIs like OTD and OTA.
• Identify Risks Proactively: anticipate failures and mitigate downstream impact.
• Partner Cross-Functionally: align execution with planning and network design.
• Continuous Improvement: collaborate to improve processes and tools.
