Job summary

CRH in Asheville, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Heavy Equipment Operator to operate front end loaders and other heavy equipment in a safe, efficient manner to produce a high-quality product.

You will load bins for production, ensure correct mix and quantity, assist in bin cleaning, and support additional duties around the production facility as needed. Lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and sitting for long periods, and flexible shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
• Flexibility in work schedule based on production demands.
• Must be able to follow directions.
• Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (such as front end loaders) as directed and specified while adhering to all safety rules and regulations.
• Load bins for production while ensuring product is correct mix and quantity to prevent delay in the production process.
• Assist in cleaning of bins.
• May also assist in other duties related to the production facility or facility yard.
