Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to run machinery in our North Carolina facility. You will follow safety policies to produce a high-quality product and support production goals.

Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, loading bins with correct mix, assisting with bin cleaning, and performing related tasks in the production yard as needed. A strong safety mindset and dependability are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to move levers, shift gears, depress pedals
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
• Flexibility in work schedule based on production demands
• Must be able to follow directions
• Must be able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (such as front end loaders) as directed and specified while adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Load bins for production while ensuring product is correct mix and quantity to prevent delay in the production process
• Assist in cleaning of bins
• May also assist in other duties related to the production facility or facility yard
