Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America, Cloverdale, IN, is seeking a Night Shift Yard Loader Operator to safely move and load aggregate materials using front-end loaders and other mobile equipment.

You will load trucks, perform pre-shift inspections, maintain a clean work environment, and coordinate with dispatch to maintain smooth material flow during the night shift. A strong safety record, ability to work independently, and good teamwork are essential; union benefits and pension are included.

• Experience operating heavy equipment in industrial/aggregate environments.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to move, stockpile, and load aggregates.
• Load customer and internal haul trucks to support production and shipping schedules.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas while adhering to safety standards.
• Collaborate with dispatch, plant operations, and team members to ensure smooth material flow on the night shift.
