Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking an operator to run front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to move and stockpile aggregate materials at our sites in the United States. You will support nightly production goals by loading trucks and assisting processing plants.

The role requires safe operation of heavy equipment, strong safety discipline, and the ability to work night shifts independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy mobile equipment in an industrial, quarry, or similar environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, situational awareness, and compliance with operating procedures.
• Ability to work independently during night shift operations while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills with a focus on supporting operational goals.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities to identify and address routine operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to safely move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials.
• Supply processing plants and load customer trucks efficiently to support nightly production goals.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and monitor equipment performance to identify and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain safe work areas by following established safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and fellow team members to optimize material flow and operational efficiency.
