Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a production teammate to ensure safe handling of incoming liquid ingredients at our White Bear Lake facility. You will follow GMPs, HACCP-like practices, and MSS-style procedures to maintain quality and safety across all tasks.

You'll work 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on rotating weekends, stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with QA, maintenance, and supervisors to address issues and document data accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or UHT processing preferred.
• Forklift experience; certification may be required.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, food safety principles, chemical safety, and industrial safety.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform basic math and data recording for production information.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP, and MSS standards and procedures.
• Complete MSS tasks weekly.
• Promptly report all industrial or food safety concerns.
• Complete paperwork, charts, and documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Receive and document incoming liquid ingredients.
• Operate yard dog tractor to move tankers in the plant.
• Perform CIP on tanks, silos, and lines.
• Ensure proper weighing of incoming/outgoing tankers.
• Report maintenance issues via requests or alerts.
• Keep supervisor informed of deviations and downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
