Job summary

Ditsch USA LLC, a leading pretzel producer in Cincinnati, is seeking a Line Lead for the food production department. The role focuses on reducing waste, ensuring quality and safety, and guiding a team through shift operations, changeovers, and daily targets.

You will oversee line performance, coach employees, enforce GMPs, and coordinate with supervision to meet production schedules while maintaining a safe, cost-efficient operation. Strong English communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret English production documents.
• Strong leadership and safety‑focused mindset.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is a plus.
• Familiar with GMPs and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and participate in safety walks.
• Use Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments to improve safety.
• Conduct root cause analyses and implement countermeasures.
• Adhere to GMPs and food handling requirements.
• Staff line positions and manage production, sanitation, PM and changeovers.
• Coordinate changeovers with schedule and verify equipment readiness.
• Complete production paperwork and meet daily targets.
