Job summary

Insomnia Cookies at the VCU store (918 W Grace St, Richmond, VA) is hiring a Shift Leader for the 7:00pm–3:00am shift. You will lead the night crew, ensure great guest service, and maintain store operations with a hands-on approach.

You will train and mentor team members, manage baking, cash handling, and safety, and foster a fun, fast-paced environment while upholding company standards.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• POS systems experience.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient demeanor.
• Detail oriented and results driven.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and quality products to guests.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Support and work alongside the Cookie Crew.
• Provide a safe, clean working environment and adhere to safe food handling practices.
• Manage cash handling and deposits.
