Job summary

Elanco in Elwood, KS, is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for the Night Shift – Downstream Bioprocessing to lead daily operations in monoclonal antibody production. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with cGMP, USDA and EMA standards, and drive safety and quality on the production floor.

The role emphasizes coaching teams, coordinating with QA, Engineering, and Maintenance, and delivering on production targets through continuous improvement initiatives. Night shift premiums apply.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years in a regulated, commercial manufacturing environment.
• Must wear appropriate gowning and PPE in manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations for downstream bioprocessing, ensuring schedules and safety.
• Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing personnel with performance feedback.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, EMA, and cGMP requirements and batch records.
• Maintain floor presence to promote safe work practices and quality.
• Coordinate with QA, Engineering, Maintenance, Validation, and Supply Chain.
• Monitor production performance, equipment readiness, and timely batch records.
