Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Shift Leader for our UoSA store at 5753 Old Shell Road, Mobile AL 36608. You will lead the bakery during shifts, supervise the team, ensure exceptional customer service, baking quality, and smooth operations.

You’ll train and coach staff, manage shifts, cash handling, safety, and uphold company standards. This flexible, part-time role offers a fun team environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of working experience in a customer service focused role.
• Point of Sales systems experience.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
• Outgoing/friendly/patient demeanor.
• Detail oriented and results-driven.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to all guests during their visit.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift and training team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew and ensure a safe, clean workplace.
• Manage cash handling and deposits and uphold food safety practices.
