Job summary

Insomnia Cookies’ Downtown Providence store at 259 Weybosset St, Providence RI 02903 is seeking a Shift Leader to captain the bakery during day or night. You’ll drive on‑the‑floor leadership, baking, and customer service to ensure a smooth, engaging shift for guests.

Lead the Cookie Crew, train teammates, manage operations, and uphold safety and cleanliness while delivering a fun, high‑energy experience that aligns with our brand’s “Own the Night.”

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required (minimum 1 year).
• Experience with Point of Sale systems.
• Excellent communication and time-management abilities.
• Outgoing, friendly, patient and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and quality products during shifts.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations and coaching staff during your shift.
• Delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning.
• Lead the cookie crew and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Handle cash handling and deposits.
