Insomnia Cookies, LLC in Downtown Providence seeks a Shift Leader to captain nightly operations at 259 Weybosset St. You’ll lead the cookie crew, ensure top‑notch customer service, manage tasks, cash handling, and safety while keeping the bakery running smoothly during your shift.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Point-of-Sales (POS) systems experience.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly and patient demeanor.
• Detail focused and results oriented.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older to be employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service and quality products to guests throughout their experience in the bakery.
• Support store leadership by maintaining operations during the shift and training team members.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks for baking, cashiering, packaging, and cleaning while leading the cookie crew.
• Collaborate with the Cookie Crew and ensure safety and cleanliness of the work area.
• Manage cash handling and deposits, ensuring accuracy and security.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to food safety practices.
