Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Lead Sterile Processing Tech for the night shift (11:00pm–7:30am). The role supervises the department when the supervisor is unavailable and ensures timely preparation of sterile instruments for operating room cases.

Required: High school diploma or GED, CBSPD or CRCST certification upon hire, and at least 2 years in healthcare sterile processing; leadership or staff-education experience is a plus. Outlook proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification: CBSPD or CRCST upon hire.
• Two years of healthcare sterile processing experience.
• Preferred: lead experience or staff education exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the department when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Inform management on items and supplies needed to order, and assist in locating instrumentation to meet OR demand.
• Oversee daily departmental needs.
• Provide sterile processed materials and equipment to hospital and affiliated facilities.
• Execute procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and surgical case cart setup.
• Ensure decontamination completion per established procedures.
• Place sterile items in correct distribution areas with proper labeling.
