Job summary

The role involves decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and cart setup to ensure sterile instruments are ready for surgical cases.

The ideal candidate has a GED or high school equivalency and CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred, with at least two years of sterile processing or OR experience.

Qualifications

• GED or High School equivalency required.
• CBSPD or IAHCSMM certification strongly preferred.
• Two years of sterile processing or operating room experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospital with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute decontamination, packaging, sterilization, and cart setup for surgical cases.
• Follow procedures to ensure decontamination completion.
• Place sterile items in appropriate areas with correct labeling by department.
