Responsibilities

• Assist in running the department when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Inform management of items and supplies needed to order and help locate instrumentation.
• Oversee daily departmental needs and adjust workflow to OR demand.
• Provide sterile processed materials and equipment to hospital and affiliated facilities.
• Ensure decontamination, assembly, packaging, and sterilization procedures are followed precisely.
• Label and place sterile items in correct distribution areas.
