Job summary

This role requires 12+ months in a warehouse, ability to pass a drug screen, and the physical capacity to lift up to 100 pounds; full-time and part-time benefits apply, including PTO, holidays, shoe allowance after 30 days, and a collaborative, safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 12+ months related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Full-Time associate must have ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to lift, push or pull equipment/merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Must wear safety composite work shoes.
• Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead Material Handling Equipment Operator: mentor and train new material handlers and fill in for supervisors as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, electric pallet jacks) to move product while following safety procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace and support Staples Supply Chain operations.
