Job summary

Qualifications

• IBCLC certification and lactation consultant experience required.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice; certifications required (IBCLC, CLC, CBC or CBS).

Responsibilities

• R rounds on patients in L&D, Postpartum, and NICU to assist with breastfeeding.
• Develop feeding plans and collaborate with pediatricians and speech therapy.
• Provide lactation education to patients and staff.
• Document nursing care and evaluate patient progress.
