Job summary

Banner Health is seeking experienced NICU nurses for a full-time night-shift role in Chandler, AZ. The unit supports a Level II nursery with 24/7 nurse practitioner coverage and opportunities for cross-training across postpartum and mother/baby care.

The position offers an 18% night shift differential and additional weekend differential pay. Qualified candidates will have NICU experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in NICU is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and provide nursing care for NICU patients in a Level II unit.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure timely discharge planning.
• Document and communicate patient progress to physicians and families.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior staff as needed.
• Demonstrate professional communication and patient/family education.
