Job summary

Abbott in Madison, WI seeks a Cologuard Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory - Off-Shift to direct nighttime and weekend lab operations under the Director of Laboratory Operations. You will supervise staff, assure quality standards, and provide technical guidance while ensuring compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, competency evaluation, equipment assessment, budgeting, and maintaining the Quality Management program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science.
• 4+ years of experience including high complexity testing (at least one in molecular pathology methods).
• 2+ years in a lead/technical specialist role or equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand regulatory requirements to ensure laboratory compliance with laws and regulations.
• Supervise staff, coordinate staffing, training, and competency evaluation.
• Oversee laboratory equipment and supply needs and budgeting.
• Maintain Quality Management program and review proficiency testing and QC data.
