Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory/medical technology science required.
• 4+ years in clinical lab with high-complexity testing (at least one in molecular pathology).
• 2+ years in roles with increasing responsibility (quality control, lead technologist, or technical specialist).
• Must be able to perform essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify and understand regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA and related regulations.
• Staffing, recruiting, training, evaluation of competency, and ongoing educational development.
• Provide on-site supervision and accessibility to laboratory personnel.
• Evaluate equipment and supply needs and manage budget.
• Ensure testing procedures are validated and quality management is maintained across pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes.
• Monitor proficiency testing, QC, incident reports, and corrective actions.
