Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the night shift (7p–7a) at St. Marys Regional Hospital.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care. Requirements include current RN license in the state of practice with BLS, and a BSN preferred; RNs with less than 12 months of experience must pursue BSN within four years.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, social, and psychological status and information from interdisciplinary team.
• Plan individualized care with patient, family, and team involvement.
• Implement care with delegation and coordination of the care team.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust the plan as needed.
• Promote nursing professionalism and ensure ethical, legal practice and accurate documentation.
