Job summary

Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital is seeking an RN Advanced Care to provide nurse-led, high-acuity care in labor and delivery. The role demands expertise in monitoring, stabilizing, and supporting patients with complex conditions, with a focus on family-centered care.

You will join a dedicated team in a new hospital environment featuring six private labor suites and advanced monitoring tools, delivering compassionate care overnight during 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shifts on a 3x12 schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN licensure; BLS certification.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates advanced nursing skills for complex labor & delivery care.
• Monitors patient data and interprets electronic monitors and vitals.
• Responds to life‑threatening situations following protocols.
• Develops and revises an individualized plan of care.
• Documents care in accordance with standards and regulations.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to manage care.
