Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time night shift in the Med/Surg Observation department. The patient‑centered team delivers expert and compassionate care, with competitive pay and day‑one benefits.

Qualifications include graduation from an approved nursing program, Florida RN license, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience. ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be required for specific areas as part of the unit's competency demands.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Meets mandatory competencies for Orlando Health and unit.
Maintains Florida RN license or valid multistate license.
Maintains BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC required for certain areas; NICU requires NRP.
1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and develop or revise individualized care plans.
Promote cultural competency and collaborate with the care team.
Advocate for patients and families, addressing preferences and concerns.
Provide care for intermediate care unit patients per age- and condition-specific needs.
Lead as preceptor, charge nurse, or unit educator as needed.
Coordinate and delegate care across the unit and document accurately.
