Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an RN for the Lakeland Hospital St Joseph unit to provide professional nursing care, assess, plan, implement, and discharge patients in alignment with ANA scope and Corewell Health policies. The role emphasizes patient/family partnerships and education documented in the health record.

Qualifications include RN license in Michigan, BLS within 90 days, NRP and C-EFM within specified timelines; preferred ACLS in Labor and Delivery. Shift: Night, 36 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing
• Bachelors in Nursing within 5 years
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN)
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA within 90 days
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) - NCC Birthplace within 1 1/2 years
• ACLS - Labor and Delivery within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care by applying the nursing process and patient/family centered care principles.
• Document education and learning in the health record and discharge planning.
