Job summary

bioMérieux in Sandy, UT is seeking a Lab Technologist for a 3/4 shift (Thu–Sat and alternating Wed) from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The role involves diverse analytical tasks including HPLC, LC/MS, DNA synthesis, and liquid handling, with routine guidance and strict quality controls.

Responsibilities include maintaining GMP-compliant records, processing oligonucleotides, and working safely with hazardous chemicals while collaborating across teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in compliance with the Diagnostics’ Quality System.
• Maintain records per GMP and SOP.
• Manufacture oligonucleotides according to batch records.
• Operate and maintain lab instrumentation (UV/Vis, HPLC, liquid handlers, DNA synthesizers).
• Handle hazardous chemicals per procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
