RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, NJ. This full-time night-shift role supports a patient-centered approach in a high-acuity setting, with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement and a current BLS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide safe, evidence-based medications, treatments, and hands-on care.
• Serve as a clinical partner to physicians for timely, coordinated care decisions.
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients and families.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation within the EMR for continuity and safety.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds to optimize transitions of care.
• Collaborate in a highly collaborative team environment to improve outcomes.
• Pursue continuing education and clinical ladder opportunities.
