Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a night-shift travel assignment in Frederick, MD. Requires 3+ years L&D experience, active Maryland or Compact RN license, OB Triage experience, and BLS/NRP.

Travel RN with previous travel experience is preferred; C-EFM or AWHONN certifications encouraged for extended contracts. Night shift 4x12s with a 1:1–2 patient ratio in a modern, expanding unit.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• OB Triage experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• C-EFM certification preferred or AWHONN Intermediate with plan to obtain C-EFM for extended contracts.
• ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Labor & Delivery Unit providing obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation through 6 weeks postpartum.
• Unit includes 14 Labor & Delivery rooms, OB Triage, OB ORs, and OB PACU.
• Recently expanded with five new L&D rooms with state-of-the-art equipment.
• Night shift schedule: 4x12 hours (19:00-07:30).
• Rotating holidays and weekends required.
• Block scheduling not available; patient ratio 1:1–2.
• Meditech charting is preferred.
• Located in Frederick, MD; smoke-free facility.
