Job summary

Indiana Packers Corporation in Delphi, Indiana, seeks a Maintenance Whizard Tech for the third shift. You will maintain whizard knives, perform preventive maintenance, and support the Operations Team to keep production flowing.

The role is full-time, 10:00pm–6:35am, with overtime possibilities. You’ll work safely under GMP policies and contribute to a high-performing, team-oriented environment in a food processing facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational coursework/experience preferred.
• Understand principles of machinery lubrication and operation.
• Ability to use hand tools (grease guns, wrenches, screwdrivers).
• Must be able to visually inspect machines and troubleshoot.
• Prompt and regular attendance required; team player.
• Effective verbal and written communication; self-motivated.
• Offers contingent on successfully passing a skill test and physical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections of whizard knives on all production departments.
• Change whizard knives blades; disassemble, reassemble, and lubricate components.
• Disassemble and reassemble knives, housings, pinions, and frames; service cables.
• Swap knife motors and sanitize knives after operations.
