Job summary

1440 Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM) at our Indiana food manufacturing facility. You will oversee daily maintenance operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure equipment uptime, safety, and regulatory compliance to sustain production.

This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs to conveyors, refrigeration, boilers, and facility systems, with accurate recordkeeping and cross‑department collaboration.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, leading a team of maintenance professionals.
Strong knowledge of safety and GMP/OSHA compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians.
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure machinery reliability.
Oversee diagnosis, repair, and modification of facility equipment including conveyors, refrigeration, boilers.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts, downtime and maintenance activities.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance. Prepare maintenance reports.
Oversee spare parts inventory and budgeting for maintenance needs.
Support capital projects and facility improvement initiatives.
Foster continuous improvement and document performance metrics.
