Job summary

Premier Packaging is seeking a maintenance technician for a 3rd shift in Indianapolis, IN. You will execute preventive maintenance on corrugated machinery, diagnose issues, and perform repairs to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires familiarity with electrical schematics and blueprints, ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance, and use of hand and power tools. Benefits include comprehensive medical, retirement, and time-off options.

Qualifications

At least 18 years of age.
Lift up to 25 lbs alone and up to 50 lbs assisted.
Technical education or certification in maintenance is a plus.
Familiarity with corrugated manufacturing equipment and processes.
Proficient in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Ability to read electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Execute routine preventive maintenance tasks on corrugated manufacturing machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes.
Conduct repairs on malfunctioning machinery, including replacing parts and components.
Collaborate with machine operators, production supervisors, and other maintenance technicians.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replacements.
Participate in equipment upgrade projects to enhance machinery capabilities.
