Job summary

Wonder is seeking a Shift Supervisor in Annapolis to oversee kitchen operations, ensuring top-quality food and service for customers. You will lead team members during opening, prep, and closing duties and collaborate with leadership to deliver excellence.

Responsibilities include handling orders, managing supplies, enforcing safety and sanitation, and coaching staff to maintain high standards while optimizing costs and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a QSR or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure adequate stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas and with cleaning schedules.
• Monitor kitchen costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and is in good order.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Meet operating and quality standards at all times.
• Present a professional and ethical leadership style.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
