Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Eden Prairie, MN, seeks an IT Helpdesk Support Specialist for overnight shifts (Sun–Thu 11PM–7AM). You will provide desktop and mobile support across multiple sites, using remote tools and on-site visits as needed.

The role covers resolving issues via phone, email, and remote desktop, plus contributing to standards, images, and device rollouts. Candidates should have several years in IT support and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

3–5 years IT user support in a complex business environment.
2+ years in Windows 10, Office 365, and Apple iOS.
Basic understanding of networking and DNS.
Strong communication for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Willingness to travel to all locations.

Responsibilities

Receive, prioritize, diagnose, and resolve IT support requests solo or with help.
Resolve most requests on first contact when possible.
Develop and implement technology standards, equipment procedures for consistency.
Develop and maintain standard desktop, laptop, and virtual desktop images.
Participate in hardware and software rollouts.
Provide tools, training, or resources to help employees use technology effectively.
Maintain IT hardware and spare parts inventory and perform small repairs.
Support mobile devices and manage Microsoft Intune for phones/tablets.
Allocate/purchase new and used devices as requested.
Participate in company-wide technology initiatives.
Administer user management controls over company software.
Other duties as assigned.
