Job summary

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA, invites seasoned inpatient oncology nurses to join the Night Shift in the Inpatient Oncology Float Pool. You will deliver direct cancer care on a rotating schedule, with 36 hours per week and weekend rotation, supporting a Magnet-designated, safety-focused team.

The role emphasizes chemo/immunotherapy administration, central venous access care, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and researchers.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN license required (unrestricted).
• ONO/ONCC chemo/immunotherapy certification preferred or to be obtained within 6 months.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct inpatient oncology nursing care with comprehensive assessment and individualized care planning.
• Administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy per protocols; monitor for adverse events and infusion reactions.
• Manage central venous access devices; perform access, blood draws, and transfusions per policy.
