Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Oncology Float Pool to provide direct, evidence-based care on the night shift at Mount Auburn Hospital in the Boston area. The role requires delivering comprehensive assessments, care planning, and symptom management for adults with cancer.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy per ONS standards, managing central lines, educating patients and families, documenting in Epic, and participating

Qualifications

• Associate degree, Nursing; a BSN is strongly preferred; those with an associate degree must complete a BSN within 4 years.
• 1 year of recent RN experience preferred; oncology/hematology experience in inpatient or ambulatory infusion setting preferred.
• Electronic medical records experience (Epic) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct oncology nursing care with comprehensive assessments, care planning, symptom management, and evaluation of outcomes for adults.
• Administer antineoplastic therapies per protocols and monitor for infusion reactions and adverse events.
• Manage central venous access devices (ports, PICCs) including access, maintenance, and blood products transfusions.
• Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment, self-care, and discharge instructions; coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
